HUMANOID SPACE -EXHIBITION <\/strong>– 4723 VISITORS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Humanoid Space<\/em> transformed the Critical Gallery in Turku into a living, changing installation in 8.8.-21.9.2025. At first the space was controlled by humans, but little by little it became a territory of humanoids \u2013 not just physically, but also contextually and semantically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANIARA IS EXHIBITED AT THE THEATER MUSEUM’S IT’S SHOW TIME -EXHIBITION <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new basic exhibition called It’s Showtime<\/a><\/em> has opened in the Theater Museum. The exhibition opens the performance process from the idea through the preparation and rehearsal phase to the moment of performance and beyond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The props, costumes and synopsis of the work Aniara<\/em>, which premiered in 2006, are on display in the exhibition. Aniara was based on Harry Martinson’s (1904-1978) sci-fi poetry epic. The premiere was seen at \/teatteri.nyt-festival in the Kiasma Theater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRIPIT! -OTHER SPACES EXERCISE FESTIVAL: RAMBLING-TRIPIT! WAS HELD ON 4.9.2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rambling-Tripit! was held in the Edible Park in Mustikkamaa, Helsinki. In the workshop the participants immersed themselves in the world of plants: germination, growth, rambling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRIPIT! -OTHER SPACES EXERCISE FESTIVAL:
FOREST-TRIPIT! -WORKSHOP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forest-Tripit! was organized on sunday 25.5.2025 in Meri-Rastila forest in Helsinki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop included both new and old Other Spaces exercises connected to the forest environment.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OTHER SPACES PERFORMANCES IN KAJAANI IN SPRING 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Spaces -collective performed a series of three of its classic performances in cooperation with the Kajaani City Theatre in the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performances seen in Kajaani were Reindeer Safari <\/a><\/em><\/strong>(2010), Wolf Safari <\/a><\/em><\/strong>(2014) and Great Barrier Reef<\/a><\/strong> (2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooperation is funded by Uudet klassikot -fund. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A NEW MARKET WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES VISITED FAROE ISLANDS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Market<\/em> workshop visited Fr\u00edtt Flog<\/em><\/a> -festival in Faroe Islands in March 2025. Originally intended for adults, the workshop was implemented for children and families. All together 10 workshops were executed in English and Faroe language in cooperation with local artist on 28.-30.3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OTHER SPACES 20TH ANNIVERSARY<\/strong> CELEBRATION YEAR OF 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Living Utopia<\/em> was a series of 20 anniversary events in which the Other Spaces presented and taught the public its exercises more comprehensively than ever before. Events such as exhibition, performance event, workshops and networking meetings were executed in autumn 2024 together with Theatre Museum and Performing Arts Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
